Kilimanjaro Consulting is part of the Baskin Clarke Group, and  was born out of Baskin Clarke Consulting Pty Ltd in response to the demand for specialist MYOB Exonet and other MYOB Enterprise solutions. All non IT related consulting in the group is undertaken by Baskin Clarke Consulting, the Management Consultancy arm of Baskin Clarke. Established in 1995, Baskin Clarke Consulting has extensive experience in strategic, business and marketing planning in a wide range of organisations and industries.

Strategic Planning

Organisations which adopt a short term planning strategy, with no long term goals and no vision of where they want to be in the future, are the least likely to survive. Every growing business therefore needs an “integrated overarching plan of how the business will achieve its objectives” (Hambrick & Fredrickson, 2001)

Our program will help define the core of the business, and then the choice of operations to be implemented. The program assists with the planning of activities to get your “forces” into favourable positions.

Business Planning

In his book “The E-Myth Revisited” Michael Gerber cites the major reason for the failure of businesses as the lack of vision, planning, and systems.  Once you know where you are going (The Strategic Plan) you need to work out how to get there. A Business Plan will detail the steps you need to take (Dates, Budgets and Responsibilities) to get from where you are now, to where you want to be.

Our Business Planning program builds on your Strategic Plan. We do not follow a “template” approach, but prefer to use the best tools and techniques at our disposal to assist your organisation in developing your plan.

Executive Development and Mentoring

Business Owners and Senior Executives tend to get so caught up in the day-to-day bushfires of their organisations, little time is left to concentrate on the really important issues. The program clearly identifies areas of Executive responsibility and helps develop management capacity in the organisation . Systems and Documentation

In his book “ The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People”, Stephen Covey lists habit number 7 as “Sharpen the Saw”. Organisations should be constantly striving to improve and the only way to build on experience is to document and systemise. Our simple Systems Framework appears on your employees’ computer desktop in HTML format and is also available in hard copy. This means that everyone in your organisation has access to the most up-to-date version of your documented systems
